There are so many healthy products in nature, I think I will never get to know all of them. Mallow – ebegümeci in Turkish grows wild, probably if you are lucky to have a garden, you might have some just out there. Here is an alternative way to prepare a sallad with these mallow leaves.
Mallow leaves are good for many things; stops cough, good for stopping nose bleeding, prevents liver cancer, good for stomach and many more. You might consider making tea with these leaves too. I am sure you can find out expert advise about how to. I am here just for the salad.
Here is a picture of what the mallow leaves look like. If you want to be 100% sure or you cannot pick them up yourself, you can buy them in a market too.
Preparing the salad requires to cook the leaves before hand, as they have a sour taste. I have provided details about what to add in the below recipe, but it all depends on your taste. You can play around with quantities/measurements.
